Project Description:

Exquisite Corpse was a unique collaborative project where our class collectively created a continuous short film. The structure involved each student producing a self-contained, 15-second cinematic segment that had to begin and end with a specific, often unique, spherical object. These objects served as visual transition points, linking each individual segment to the one that followed, resulting in a complete narrative pieced together by the entire class.

Contributions:

My individual scene is a short, intense moment centered on a werewolf dying out in the dark rain. It opens a raindrop, establishing a quiet, wet atmosphere. The pace quickly shifts as the werewolf is struck by an arrow, shot by an unseen monster hunter. The creature falls, its struggle ending abruptly. The perspective then shifts upwards towards the falling rain suggesting the world continuing. The scene concludes by zooming in closely on a single falling water drop – like a life blinking out. Visually, the scene is dominated by cold blues, grays, and dark, wet greens, emphasizing a sense of dampness and isolation.
